  • Guest:I really wanted this hotel to work for us. It’s been hyped on social media, and the photos make it look incredibly beautiful. And to be fair, it is visually appealing. But very quickly we realized it was not a good choice. The rooms are extremely small. You can barely get through the door with your luggage, and once inside there’s hardly any space to open even a small suitcase. The mirror is blocked by your coat because the hangers are positioned directly above it, which is a very odd design choice. The sink in the bedroom splashes water everywhere, so you constantly have to wipe it down or keep towels nearby. The room looks great in pictures, but that charm disappears the moment you actually try to live in it. DO NOT book it if you're planning to do any shopping. I feel like this place could somehow work with backpacks only. There are also no towel hangers at all. After using the onsen or taking a shower, you’re left wondering what to do with your wet towel. The bathroom has no space or rack for it either. I’ve never been this frustrated by a room’s design before, it consistently highlighted poor decisions that could have easily been avoided. Lighting was another major issue. The only usable mirror for doing makeup is badly lit, with only an overhead light that casts unflattering shadows, almost like the “Bohemian Rhapsody” music video. If you enjoy getting ready in the evening, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The small slit-style window is a cool idea at first, but it becomes annoying and doesn’t provide enough natural light. The lobby, although pretty, wasn’t comfortable to sit in, so it stayed empty. Interestingly, cheaper hotels provided a portable mirror- something this place completely overlooked. The one true highlight is the rooftop onsen. It was very clean and lovely, and the lockers and hair-drying area were comfortable and well thought out. But bear in mind you will spend max 30mins there, and the rest of the time you will just be annoyed by the hotel. Overall, the hotel’s aesthetic is beautiful, but the practical design issues made our stay frustrating and far from enjoyable.
  • Guest:I really wanted to love this hotel, but it fell flat in several ways. What I didn’t like: The twin room is tiny—shockingly small—and there’s no tub, which is odd given the “onsen” branding. The onsen itself isn’t worth the hype. It’s very small and almost always crowded, so it doesn’t feel relaxing at all. The hotel uses central air per floor, meaning your room temperature depends on what other guests want. You can end up freezing at 2 a.m. with zero control. Location isn’t great. It’s farther from the train stations than advertised, and you feel it after long days exploring. They gave me a hard time about letting my friend come up to my room just to drop off her bags while we went on a side trip. Small gripe, but the toilet was disappointing for Tokyo—cold seat, no automatic features. My hotel in China had a fully automated heated seat that opened when you walked in, so this felt like a downgrade. What was good: 7-Eleven is right outside the door, super convenient. Cute coffee shop about a block away. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. Overall: Not a great stay. I wish I had booked somewhere with better room comfort, easier transportation access, and more nightlife around. I wouldn’t choose this property again.
  • Guest:Overall , the stay was excellent!! The onsen was superb it was so relaxing and calm my body after a long day of walk. However I feel like the room is a little dusty but still clean overall, the distance is slightly further away from stations which the closest station takes about 10 minutes walk.
  • Guest:It's a nice place, the breakfast is very good, but the rooms are way too small.
